3 ways to flip your perspective & master your mind 🧠

By now I am sure you are well aware that we are huge advocates for having a healthy & positive mindset 

Whilst we don’t condone toxic positivity, we also know how important it is to be able to flip your perspective and find the silver lining even in the hardest of times. 

So today, we wanted to give you our top 3 hacks when it comes to flipping your perspective. 

Firstly, we want to say, if you are going through a tough time, feel however you need to feel. You need to grieve, to cry, to scream, to just be sad and feel what you need to feel in order to heal! 

So before you can do the following 3 things, we suggest you feel all your feelings first. 

Write down what you are grateful for 

We all know how important gratitude is. It is such a powerful practice and has such a positive impact on your mental health and wellbeing! We know how much our mindset is flipped when we pause, look around and write down all the things we are grateful for! You never realise how many blessings you have until you count them all. If you are going through a tough time, it can be hard to think of your blessings, but start small… 

For example it could be as simple as having food in your fridge, a roof over your head and running water to drink. 

Remember your why 

This is huge for anyone who is struggling through a process right now. Maybe you are training for a marathon, starting a business, starting at a new job, doing a uni degree, whatever it is, always remember your why. Being a business owner is tough, you struggle daily with imposter syndrome, fear, doubt, fatigue… the thing that always brings us back and makes that passion reignite, is remembering our why, remembering our end goal & remembering why we started in the first place! 

Ask yourself ‘what lesson am I learning here’? 

You may have heard of the saying, everything in life is either a lesson or a blessing… it’s so true. We are big believers that everything, every person and every situation comes into our life for a purpose. Whether that is to bless our lives or to teach us a lesson. If you are struggling through a tough time right now, think to yourself, what lesson is this teaching me? How can I grow from what is happening right now? How can this make me a better person?

We have found this SO powerful, because at the end of the day, you always come out of tough times a stronger person!
