2021 summed up + a little love note from us to you this festive season 🎄

It’s our final blog of the year so we wanted to get a bit sentimental for a moment…
What a YEAR!
2021 has been filled with so many highs & also so many lows, in both business and personal life, it’s fair to say that everyone has felt it a little bit this year.
So we hope everyone makes the most out of the festive season and enjoys each and every second.
Firstly we wanted to start off by saying, YOU DID IT! You survived another year, a year that has seen some unimaginable events come to life, but, you’ve come out the other side, a stronger, braver & more amazing person. So props to you for that!
We also wanted to say the biggest thank you for all your love and support this year.
For us, 2021 was a life changing year. Whilst it’s been tough running a business in and out of lockdowns, working with all of the postage delays, working with all the uncertainty, working through fear… it’s also been a year that has seen our dreams come to life!
2021 saw MAD turn 1, it saw 5 brand new collections be born, it saw 2 new products come to life, it saw 1000’s of people join along in our community, it saw record months, it saw products sell out, it saw launch parties, photoshoots, markets, tears, blood & sweat… 2021 was really a year of BIG moments and to have you all along on the journey with us has meant everything to us.
This business, this dream, wouldn’t be possible if it weren’t for all of you, so we just want to take this time to say THANK YOU.
We certainly underestimated what it takes to get a small business off the ground and running. We weren’t ready for the sleepless nights, 80 hour weeks, minimal days off, missing social events and putting everything on the line, but we would not have it any other way.
The highs in business are unlike anything you will ever experience.
From an idea in our heads comes a collection brought to life and seeing it on all of you, is a feeling we won’t ever take for granted.
If you have any inkling to start a business, any gut feeling, this is your sign to do it. If 2021 has taught us anything, it’s that things can change in an instant, life is too short, so go out there and do whatever it is you want to do. Take the risk, because if your heart's in it, you’ll make it work.
We also just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas & a safe new year. We hope your bellies get filled with food, your hearts filled with love & your glasses filled with your favourite drink. Now is the time to kick back, be proud of all you have achieved this year and make the most out of life with your nearest and dearest.
We are SO excited for what’s in store for 2022, we have some BIG things planned and some big goals to tick off. We cannot wait to continue the journey with you, get ready MAD fam, next year is going to be huge.
